HAMPTON ROADS, VA – More than 4,000 Crime Line tips were received last year, resulting in more than 100 arrests and 182 crimes solved. This is the story told by the 2024 statistics compiled from the seven participating Crime Lines and Crime Solvers programs in Hampton Roads.
Tips throughout the year included calls by phone to the 1-800-lock-u-up as well as tips delivered online through apps or websites.
In total, 97 rewards were approved by the board worth more than $44,000.
